The Marketing & Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing event activations for our brands and key partners and supporting the marketing manager on cross-channel marketing initiatives targeting both retail and online sales.
- Attend events where/when required, taking charge of set-up/tear-down, brand promotion
- Work with Marketing Manager to source and implement point-of-purchase displays and other materials as required by retail partners
- Handle all tracking of product orders/samples tracking (as required)
- Create event recaps and assessments to improve activities at future events
- Responsible for event project management and execution for consumer and sponsored events; assist with larger domestic and international trade events
- Coordinate and execute all event planning and logistics including required personnel, product, displays, shipping/transport, and other physical support to ensure success
- Support the Marketing Manager in the design, development and distribution of all collateral required for sales efforts, including catalog, technical data sheets, price lists and give-away merchandise
- Assist Marketing Manager with managing company event marketing plan and budget to supports the company’s brand image, product, and key messaging
- Be able to dedicate additional time outside regular working hours for special projects, traveling, or events
- Strong computer skills are a must with proficiency in Google Business Suite and MS Office 365, specifically Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word.
- Engage in company paid travel to trade shows and events as needed (weekly trips during peak season)
- Minimum 2 years experience in event marketing with consumer product brand experience required; experience within the active Outdoor industry a plus
- Must have ability to lift 20 pounds, legally rent vehicles without additional fees (typically age 25 and over), and drive rental vehicles/cargo van
- Knowledge of Illustrator/Photoshop and/or Canva a plus
- Full time availability to work on-site at our Longmont, CO office
- 4-year degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or equivalent
- Ability to work in, and make a positive contribution to a team environment
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is critical.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent organizational, budget, and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work autonomously, practice good judgment, effective decision making and time management skills
- Three different health insurance plan options with up to 90% employer contribution for employee premiums and up to 50% employer contribution for dependent premiums.

- Offer to be determined based upon the individual's experience and qualifications. Budgeted at a base salary of $50,000-$60,000 plus an annual bonus of up to 5% of your base salary (dependent on company and personal performance).
