GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Event Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of events for our healthcare employer and academic partners and workforce teams. They will coordinate and manage all aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, budget management, event logistics, registration, and post-event follow-up.

This role is on the Marketing team, supporting our partner and workforce teams, but will work with key stakeholders within business development, sales, and finance.


GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with partners and internal teams to ensure event goals and objectives are met
  • The marketing event coordinator is responsible for the proper planning, execution and post-mortems on all MedCerts events.
  • Monitor and report on the success of events and make recommendations for improvements and future events
  • Manage conference and event planner and meetings to coordinate on upcoming events
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholder teams to ensure they receive the highest level of service and support as it relates to participation in events
  • Develop and maintain project plans and event documentation for all events
  • Establish key performance indicators with stakeholders, and ensure that these are tracked and measured for each event and reported upstream
  • Work with internal teams to develop and deliver marketing collateral, presentations, and other assets required for events
  • Collaborate with the marketing and partner teams to plan, execute and manage partner events, including webinars, conferences, and other virtual and in-person events
  • Support the sales team by providing event-related materials, including event summaries and contact lists
  • Manage all logistical aspects of events, including event registration, content creation, promotion, and post-event follow-up
  • Manage budgets and timelines for events, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Plan, organize and execute a B2B events and partnerships strategy including owned conferences and VIP client experiences, to support MedCerts business goals and objectives
  • Manage event budget(s), ensuring that all costs are accounted for and stay within budgetary constraints


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in coordinating with partners and other external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other event-related software, including event registration and management tools
  • Experience in the healthcare or academic industry is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal teams and external partners


WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is fully remote, work-from-home. This is a remote position in which work will be completed during normal business hours (approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm EST) Monday through Friday, with some weekends and/or evenings required. Some domestic travel may be required, including some overnight.
