Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketing professional who is hungry to do more. Our ideal candidate has experience executing marketing campaigns while leading and inspiring co-workers. He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving under tight deadlines and changing needs. The Marketing Director works with internal groups to coordinate, implement and measure marketing campaigns and programs designed to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives. This is accomplished utilizing a combination of internal and external resources, as well as hands-on content creation.


Responsibilities

  • Maintains an inventory of sales support materials ensuring all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed. Provides support materials (collateral, presentations, video content, etc.) and lead-generation programs to achieve revenue goals.
  • Coordinates and manages NPCA trade show exhibits. Develops and manages a comprehensive event project plan for all setup tasks, logistics, literature, registrations, and other details.
  • Serves as staff liaison for NPCA’s Outreach Committee.
  • Budgets, forecasts, and manages marketing investments.
  • Plans and executes multi-channel marketing campaigns to achieve organizational objectives, such as promoting the precast concrete industry, the value of NPCA membership, NPCA education and certification programs, Precast Days, The Precast Show and other events.
  • Develops and implements email marketing programs and surveys utilizing data from the association’s membership management system (CRM).
  • Analyzes, negotiates and places advertisements across search/digital and print media.
  • Ensures consistent use of brand promise, positioning and messaging across campaigns and content.
  • Identifies and recommends new marketing channels and technologies. Assists in modernizing NPCA’s marketing and communications function.
  • Manages data collection, tracking, reporting and analysis to measure and report campaign results.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business or related field required.
  • Demonstrated history of planning and implementing successful campaigns.
  • Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, association leadership, members, and marketing partners.
  • Proven ability to manage ad agencies and other marketing partners.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Adobe Creative Cloud Applications (InDesign and Photoshop), and WordPress or other CMS.
  • Interpersonal skills to motivate team members and manage through any conflicts.
  • Minimum of five years in a B2B marketing role. Trade association experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including digital and content marketing, advertising, events/experiential marketing, budgeting and ROI.
  • Time management and organization skills to plan/execute large and small marketing projects.
