Innovative Virtual Restaurant seeks Storyteller, Unicorn Wrangler, Flavor Guru, and General Ruckus-Maker.
Nosh Simple is a virtual restaurant offering scratch-made, chef-cooked meals delivered to your doorstep. “Meal planning is my favorite part of the week!” – said no one, ever. Nosh Simple turns your fridge into a food court with a menu of diverse cuisines chef-executed deliciously.
As a startup, the Company itself is also made from scratch. This role doesn’t simply entail “shouting it from the mountaintop”; sometimes it entails building the mountain itself, developing the message, and then developing new ways to shout.
Entrepreneurial flexibility coupled with a “yes, and” approach will be critical for success in this role.
This is a fast-paced, high-energy role. At any given point you’ll be writing creative copy for web & social media, interviewing customers, running pricing analysis, tracking SEO metrics, researching brand positioning, and run highly analytical traction tests. Startups are fun, yet they’re also intense and require a very peculiar type of person to succeed in this role.
The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the VP of Growth, and will work across multiple aspects of the department, as a generalist not a specialist.

Responsibilities
Manage Social Media presence and online reputation
Understand all aspects of our market and our customers
Advocate for the customer in every meeting and every decision
Observe & Research market trends to inform creative decisions
Propose changes to the Brand Strategy as information develops
Contribute to the Creative workflow, with brainstorms and developing proposals
Execute content marketing tasks to achieve department KPIs & goals
Generate, develop & edit engaging social media and other content
Generate great written creative content
Great feedback in Art Direction, especially understand brands and how they behave
Dabble in Graphic Design to give basic support on simple tasks
Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
Analyze web traffic metrics, optimizing content
Requirements
Degree in Marketing or a related field
Min. 2 years of directly relevant experience
Proven ability to generate creative content
Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to managers
Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
Curiosity + Analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
Attention to detail, in fact please mention “hawk-like” in your cover letter (of course you’re submitting a cover letter, right? That way we know how you write)
An eye for design + the ability to write & proofread great copy
Robust personal productivity system
Proficient with core MS Office Products
Proficiency with Adobe Creative suite = bonus
Familiar enough with design software to learn and eventually support
