Marketing Associate, Social Media + Influencer

PrettyLitter is on the hunt for a Los Angeles-based Marketing Associate to be the conversational voice of PrettyLitter across social media as well as support our social and influencer marketing initiatives.

You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to jump into cat community conversations with sparkling wit. You should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage community communications across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter willing to jump in and help build our social and influencer programs in new and exciting ways.

What You'll Do

• Respond to customer complaints on social media, diffusing tension and empathetically addressing misinformation or moving conversations to customer service. Escalate to management where appropriate.
• Update budgeting documents to help the team maintain timely tracking
• Monitor social sentiment and engagement and report on trends and highlights that can inform other teams at PrettyLitter.
• Support the Social + Influencer Marketing Manager in tracking social media performance and creating reports
• Create monthly reports on social sentiment trends that can inform other teams at PrettyLitter.
• Coordinate influencer marketing initiatives to help accomplish the influencer marketing team’s business goals.
• Participate in team brainstorms and provide social-first ideas/concepts
• Compile and track rave reviews from customers, reaching out for permission to use in our advertising materials.
• Coordinate with brand/creative team to ensure brand consistency
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends
• Proactively comment across social media to join the conversation in the cat community and earn positive brand impressions.
• Help identify influencers and potential partner opportunities in the cat and pet care community. Gather live influencer links for reporting and monitoring

Job Details

• This role will travel approximately 2 weeks per year for company retreats and meet-ups
• This is a full-time, exempt position
• The salary range for this role is: $65,000 - $80,000.
• PrettyLitter is a remote company, generally working Pacific Time hours, however, this role will meet in-person with our Social Media Manager in Los Angeles regularly
