An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of research and market data analysts to carry out vendor and product research and financial market data analysis on behalf of the consultancy, clients and product content development functions within the organisation.
Role Description:
•Ensuring that 3di’s flagship market data online info-base Profiler is continuously maintained and updated to the highest of standards.
•Content research and analysis of market information, pricing and reference data vendors and solutions (terminal, feed-based, research, ratings, news, exchange, broker, etc.) with benchmarking analysis covering:
- Vendors, products and services (including competitive landscapes)
- Pricing, commercial and rights policies.
•Maintain, update and develop vendor and product content in the info-base.
•Plan, carry out and collate research on a daily basis, adding value to the existing info-base.
•Support clients in their usage of Profiler.
•Liaise and attend meetings with vendors to build long term relationships.
•Help support the consultant and sales teams, and existing clients.
•Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Key Competencies:
•Ideally some awareness of enterprise and market data products used in business areas such as equities, research, investment banking, and asset management.
•Financial Services landscape, Market Data landscape and major vendors/products awareness.
•2-3 years working experience in a FS, consulting or vendor environment.
•Demonstrable analysis and research skills.
•Excellent verbal and written communication, solid report writing, good Excel and good presentation skills.
•Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality deliverables.
•Multi-tasker, able to see things from multiple viewpoints, manage own time effectively and prioritise efficiently.
•Methodical, focused and highly organised approach to work with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and adjust quickly to shifting business priorities.
•Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
•Keen for new experiences, responsible and accountable.
•Strong team-player.
Education:
•Degree-educated minimum.
•FIA Level 1 certification an advantage.
