Job Description
Key Responsibilities


  • Requirements.
  • Sources tools, machinery and test equipment as required for current or new products.
  • Supports, maintains and drives improvements related to Safety, Quality, Delivery
  • Supports the transition of the new product from engineering to production.
  • Recommends vendors, materials, processes and optimal process instructions, interim production options, and documentation package
  • Resulting in cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to production personnel.
  • Supports initiatives to improve manufacturing processes and methods
  • Verifies manufacturing work instructions including assembly, and soldering procedures.
  • Trains production personnel regarding new manufacturing process.
  • Investigates and resolves vendor questions or problems and assesses vendor capabilities to meet Barksdale standards.
  • Troubleshoots production issues, failures, and First Pass Yield.
  • Maintains and repairs test equipment or prepares maintenance work orders.
  • And Cost (SQDC) metrics for facility-wide initiatives.
