Job Description

FirstFour Staffing is assisting a large industrial manufacturing operation in Mobile AL with their need for a Manufacturing Area Manager.


This highly technical role will oversee and manage the teams and processes of production, technical maintenance, product reliability and quality inspection.


The incumbent will be the SME on compliance and technical issues, providing engineering solutions, and improvement initiatives to ensure fast maintenance resolution and smooth production.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Experience in the development of highly technical presentations
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other relative technical field OR equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Ability to build strong, diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of automated control systems, lean manufacturing methodologies, environmental protection
  • SAP/ERP, document management, dashboards, and MS Office proficiencies
  • 10 years of maintenance team management experience in a manufacturing environment
