Managing Director, Investigations, Jobs

This position will sit in any of the following locations with a hybrid remote/onsite requirement.

Chicago, NYC, DC

The essential job functions for Managing Directors include:

• Scoping potential client projects and working with other Managing Directors and practitioners to deliver high-quality results, including working outside of normal business hours when needed
• Professionally and effectively managing client projects by communicating deadlines, interfacing with practitioners, and creating strategic roadmaps when necessary
• Training and supervising junior practitioners
• Being market-facing experts in their fields by attending industry conferences, leading seminars and webinars, and participating in other marketing initiatives
• Building the firm's four practice areas by developing new client relationships and generating billable projects
• Assisting sales operations and marketing teams with preparing proposals, agreements, and marketing collateral

The competencies required for this job include:

• Expertise in project management, investigation, or consulting in whichever practice area is relevant to the role
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and develop lasting relationships with corporate compliance, legal, and security stakeholders, as well as attorneys and financial services clients
• Experience working outside of normal business hours to deliver results for clients
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and success working as part of a team, including managing junior team members.
• Demonstrated success managing client relationships and identifying cross-sell opportunities in other practice areas
