People Management: This role is a people manager role and would have leads and senior associates reporting into this role. The expectation is to be a role model to them and provide guidance from a daily routine and aspirations perspective. Should demonstrate the ability to help navigate the Tesco environment with the appropriate guidance. Should be able to support career aspirations by working with team members on the appropriate trainings and learnings. Cultural sensitivity: Demonstrate high levels of cultural sensitivity as the role supports the highest office in India and interfaces with multiple stakeholders outside of Tesco Bengaluru Prioritization: Should be able to prioritize meetings proactively for leaders by exercising appropriate judgement based on urgent and critical requirements. Confidentiality & Discretion: Ability to apply confidentiality and discretion at the highest level as the role will have significant access to Tesco proprietary information. Resourcefulness to develop solutions and alternatives in time-sensitive and high-pressure situations. Tech savviness to be able to use all the tools of the trade to improve and reinforce processes. Big picture thinking to provide executives with strategic guidance. Prioritization to get the truly important things done. Discretion to be a trusted resource and keeper of confidential information. Multitasking to strategically complete important to-do items while balancing small tasks. Anticipation to detect problems and opportunities in situations and relationships.
