Job Description
:
Manage the operation of product terminal and related activities, including loading, maintenance, metering, and quality control.
  • Insures that proper safety procedures are carried out at the terminal and on the pipeline.
  • Reduces potential risk to public safety and environment and minimize company liability.
  • Maintains accurate records and prepares required daily and monthly reports.
  • Manages all maintenance work performed at terminal.
  • Insures compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Insures quality control is carried through in the loading and receipt of product. Instructs truck drivers on proper loading and unloading procedures.
  • Manages operations and monitors scheduling of products for incoming and outgoing P/L carrying refined products.
  • Perform certain maintenance tasks as required.
  • Prepares work schedules for subordinates so that terminal and P&L operations are performed efficiently.
  • Improves operation efficiency and financial profitability through well maintained facilities.
Requirements:
  • Ability to take directions from supervisors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to independently proof work for accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work successfully in stressful situations, and manage multiple tasks
  • Must have extensive experience in mitigation of corrosion of subsurface pipelines and above ground storage tanks.
  • Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products
  • Ability to use awareness of relationships and impacts of data trends and elements to appropriately recommend actions that impact both near and long-term company operations and profits
  • Experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Ability to independently conduct job accountabilities
  • 10 years experience in product terminal maintenance and operations
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to manage time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines
The salary range for this position is $131,700 to $197,500 and represents the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Position title and pay vary by work location and are also determined based on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications and experience.
