Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Dispatcher / Admin


COMPANY: Grace Pacific, LLC.


DEPARTMENT: HMA Plants


REPORTS TO: Asphalt Plants Operations Manager


STATUS: Non-Exempt, Non-Union


PRINCIPAL DUTIES


  • Calculates and receives payments from external customers; makes deposits, credit cards, prepares related reports.
  • Scales trucks and materials (crushed rock or asphalt products) to ensure load is within proper D.O.T. weight requirements (GVW). Will generate tags indicating quantity and destination of loads, and/or dispatch scaled trucks to respective job sites, as necessary.
  • Take telephone orders, provide quotes, and respond to inquiries regarding products, pricing, hauling rates, etc.
  • May as deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Full Stack Developer in Dayton, OH.
  • Schedule deliveries with outside truckers, coordinate deliveries with customers, and/or coordinate the quantities of asphalt materials orders with the plant for the next day's operations.
  • May coordinate loading of materials with loader operators and verify the accuracy of each load.
  • Will respond to radio and phone contacts from the field, and coordinate job requirements with plant and paving personnel.


Position Description


Software development professional (junior, mid, and senior level) who can provide capability to develop end-to-end solutions. Demonstrated ability to analyze customer needs to ensure proposed solution meets the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Possesses skills needed to build modern, enterprise Cloud-based web applications and leverage techniques to identify and implement system improvements. Proven ability to work within development teams to build applications ranging from rapid prototypes to enterprise level service offerings.


Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited university.


Experience Requirements


Minimum of 2 years of experience with software development.


  • Knowledge of developing capabilities using container solutions, including Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience using source code version control systems.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, including SQL server.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience building and supporting systems in AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with an object-oriented programming language, including C#, Java, or Python.


Special Skills Desired


  • Experience using and managing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipeline solutions.
  • Experience with building and delivering enterprise applications or microservices in technologies.
  • Experience building or using APIs and RESTful web services.
