Requirements:
We are looking for a Manager, Social Content & Culture who is passionate about sports and social media. The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, socially-savvy, and detail oriented. You should be able to react quickly in a fast paced environment, taking ownership of delivering our best work. You should be truly passionate about social media, what trends are shaping it, what best practice looks like and how brands and fans are changing the landscape.
What You’ll Do:
- Attend brand events as the main social media lead, ready to help inform real-time content capture and community engagement
- Work side by side with our internal and client team to execute established social strategies, helping to inform best-in-class content to establish the brand as an industry leading account on the platform
- Have a thorough understanding of the brand compass and the social strategy and how it plays out in your day to day role
- Encourage fan engagement through active community management that leverages the established brand personality and tone of voice
- Build, manage, execute and publish a schedule of content that speaks to key moments in sports and culture and ensures optimal execution of platform features (sounds, hashtags, filters, etc) and best practices
- Present content to client, accurately actioning feedback
- Serve as the main point of contact for our client, responsible for day to day communication with the brand team both on emails and calls
Requirements for this role:
- Strong passion for all things sports
- Client management
- Strong community management copywriting abilities
- Serial social media user who can show a deep understanding of key platforms
- Effective communication skills
- Based in the greater Los Angeles area
- Previous experience running a social channel for a brand preferred
- Track and analyze key social metrics
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong conceptual mind
