The Role

The Manager, RMS Sales’ principal function is to support the VP Revenue Management Services in growing the RM Service program for the benefit of franchise hotels.

This position will influence the sales process for growing Revenue Management Services and will partner with Operations, Property Openings, Development, Brand leaders and other departments to ensure partner teams are selling the program effectively and have top-notch materials to do so.
Additionally, all relevant selling materials, including but not limited to; brochures, one page reference materials, MyPortal updates, brand communications and notifications, Year-end annual review of all RM Service contracts, Maintenance of DocuSign terms and requirements will be performed and maintained by this individual.


What you'll do

Revenue Management Sales

  • Work with hotels to identify an RMS solution that works for them
  • Work with internal teams to build out target lists
  • Actively call and engage with targeted hotels identified that would greatly benefit from Revenue Management Services
  • Regularly reach out and communicate to hotels to identify and sell a Revenue Management platform to best suit their needs
  • Work with VP of Revenue Management Services to update annual FDDs based on trends and projections

Relationship Management

  • Partner with internal customers to create and implement Revenue Management Services growth plans

Value realization

  • Understand business needs, use cases, data, and metrics identified to measure success

Communication

  • Develop a communication cadence with Revenue Management leadership on updates that impact RMS Sales

Enhancement

  • Find incremental revenue opportunities to cross sell and upsell current Franchisees

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Business, Statistics, Marketing, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Ability to communicate business needs to the Business Intelligence Group.
  • Strong knowledge of Revenue Management and Revenue Management systems, Microsoft Office applications, including knowledge and experience in Sales or Marketing
  • 3+ years of progressive work-related experience in hotel revenue management, hotel operations, yield management, consulting, or analytics.
