Job Description
Leads all aspects of the North America (NA) Professional Services product portfolio and strategy to establish sustainable growth with commercial end-users. The Manager, Professional Services will closely monitor market trends and Husqvarna competitors to establish and develop a relevant and impactful Services portfolio of offers and innovative commercial end-user solutions. This includes but is not limited to participation and/or implementation of ongoing global projects and market studies; the coordination with global and local Pro Customer Segment Units (CSU) teams, Pro NA sales organizations, distributors, dealer partners, and end-users to gather relevant and meaningful insights that support the development of the Pro Services product offering. Integration and collaboration with Global Pro organization is essential. This position is a critical thinker with P&L influence, and is also responsible for shaping the long-term NA Professional vision and deploying the business plans, strategies and tactics to deliver that vision on a yearly basis.


What You Need to Know:


  • Skilled at building partnerships with the sales organizations to gain alignment, gather market feedback, assess user acceptance and inform product improvements and future projects
  • Employ thought leadership on all business cases both from the customer’s lens and to fulfill and/or enhance the Husqvarna Pro brand promise
  • Track in-market Services portfolio performance (KPIs beyond volume/value), with a focus on developing sustainable revenue streams and driving overall profitability & ROI
  • Deploy and lead pilots as needed; attend end-user prototype testing sessions
  • Ensure Services product life-cycle processes are established and documented for clarity on responsibilities and managing transitions
  • Ensure “launch readiness” for new or existing Services products and offers
  • Communicate effectively to the Global Pro team the unique needs of the NA market
  • Develop Services offer materials for trade shows, sales meetings, and training team, bringing to life the key features and benefits to maximize impact; attend trade shows as needed
  • Continuously monitor and gather competitor intelligence and end-user feedback to identify opportunities to enhance offer(s) and develop relevant, meaningful value propositions
  • How to articulate clearly customer problems and needs; market and end-user requirements
  • Lead, initiate and support the overall implementation of the Pro NA Services strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, IT, engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure internal capabilities are in-place to support the execution of Services products
  • Develop profitable business cases and market-leading Services product portfolio roadmaps that grow sales of commercial products, parts & accessories; drive incremental revenue, address end-user feedback, enhance customer experience and improve brand loyalty


What We Are Looking For:


  • Demonstrated ability to build effective teams with strong interpersonal skills to align with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes; manage direct reports
  • B2B digital/software Sales and/or Marketing experience a plus
  • Experience identifying business opportunities, developing strategic projects, launching them to intermediaries and end-users, and managing the overall performance and life-cycle
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with an attention to detail and an ability to manage, manipulate and interpret insights within large data-sets
  • Familiarity with Services product development lifecycle process required
  • Proven track record driving profitable growth through offer development in global organizations with complex, multi-layered sales channels
  • Ability to manage a budget, execute multiple projects at once, meet deadlines and ensure a positive ROI on assigned projects and initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Willingness and ability to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends, and travel up to 25% to domestic and international sites.
  • 5+ years of digital solutions product management or other relevant B2B experience including Finance, Marketing, Sales, Aftersales, project management etc.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Experience with Outdoor Power Equipment, or other durable goods desirable
