Manager, Line Maintenance - Part 145

About us:What you'll do:The day-to-day:

• Ensuring all tooling and test equipment required to maintain the IFEC system is available and up to date.
• Coordinating and executing all local badge and access permit requirements with the airport authority.
• Measuring the performance of each station to ensure assigned work is performed as agreed upon each day.
• Monitoring the maintenance schedule and line maintenance footprint to assure that maximum productivity is achieved in the most cost effective manner.
• Ensuring a comprehensive review and/or check of aircraft paperwork and records are properly completed at each station on a continuous basis.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the Director of Airline Operations.
• Overseeing and providing technical support for personnel performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the IFEC systems across 6+ line maintenance stations and vendors.
• Continuously evaluating resources and ensuring that the required personnel, tooling, and equipment are available to execute the maintenance mission.
• Assisting in the development of a maintenance and preventative maintenance program.
• Facilitating and ensuring close communication with Line Maintenance Stations, Maintenance Control, Quality Control, and Materials departments on issues that impact maintenance or maintenance schedules.
• Participating with and leading the team to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair any discrepancies related to the aircraft in accordance with approved technical data.
• Interface with our airline partners and reporting on KPI’s, RCCA.
• Positively leading and ensuring safety, compliance, security and quality.
• Ensuring all work accomplished is done in accordance with all company, airline partner and FAA regulations.
• Leading and directing the proper application of company policies and procedures, maintenance procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Managing Facilities, Vehicles and tooling for existing line maintenance stations and future expansion.
• Coordinating with the Line Stations and Materials Department to ensure timely availability of parts, equipment and hardware.

What you'll need:

• 5+ years of commercial aircraft maintenance experience.
• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining line maintenance stations required.
• Airframe & Powerplant License.
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory/management role.
• The ability to work with and understand maintenance manuals, maintenance programs, reliability programs, and interpret FAA regulations.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
• Hold a valid Passport.
• Must have a clear understanding of typical Part 121 and Part 145 maintenance manuals.
• Strong Computer skills required including Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
• Strong knowledge of FAR’s and regulatory manuals.
• Ability to obtain AOA airport badges.

It is an essential function of the position that the employee meets the safety requirements of the FAA.
