We are searching for a Manager-Food Service Production responsible for providing the day-to-day leadership of the Culinary Program at the assigned Southcoast Hospital Group Facility. Responsibility and regulatory accountability for the culinary and procurement operations, assuring safe, quality, efficient food handling, preparation and service of food for all customer groups at assigned Facility. Duties included direct supervisory of assigned departmental personnel and activities. Guide individuals and groups toward desired outcomes, setting high performance standards and delivering exceptional quality services.

  • Shift: Day/Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation; Hours vary
  • Hours: 40hrs
  • Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required
  • Location: St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years culinary experience with at least 3 years at the Chef Level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related area or certified culinary arts diploma from an accredited culinary school.
  • Significant relevant experience may substitute for Education Requirement

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus and provide required vaccination documentation unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
