Job Description

Who We Are
PS offers a completely new way to travel on a commercial flight that eliminates the stress and unpredictability of flying in and out of LAX. PS is a private luxury terminal, far removed from the chaos of the surrounding airport and just steps away from the airfield for seamless travel.
The PS experience includes your own luxurious suite with unlimited snacks and drinks, private TSA and Customs screening and a car service across the airfield to your airplane door. Trade in the traffic and lines of the public terminal for the speed and ease of PS LAX.
The PS business model is the first-of-its-kind in the US, the only public/private partnership with TSA/CBP in the US and the only public/private operation within the global commercial airport landscape. PS plans to expand its business model and luxury service to 3-4 additional airports in the US starting in 2023.
About the Role
PS is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead our customer retention and acquisition efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the strategic roadmap for email marketing and digital advertising. They will work closely with our Technology and Membership teams to ensure that our marketing and sales initiatives are effectively implemented, tracked, and reported on. This is a highly visible role with maximum impact.
Responsibilities & Expectations
  • This is an El Segundo, CA based role with an expectation of being on-site 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Email marketing
  • Own strategy, tracking/measurement, reporting, testing and optimization of all campaigns
  • Work with Brand & Partnerships Mgr. for copy and visuals
  • Develop mechanics for new Loyalty Rewards program
  • Define strategic roadmap for customer retention and LTV maximization with accountability on KPI goals: membership churn, annual customer spend targets, new product/location launches
  • Build annual sales campaign calendar in partnership with Membership Sales team
  • Analyze customer data to identify sales & marketing opportunities
  • Build workflows & automate via Marketo and Salesforce
  • Develop & own strategies for retention and engagement
Digital Advertising
  • Monitor the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and identify new channels for testing
  • Design and execute an always-on testing process that establishes a test roadmap, hypotheses, and actionable insights that lead to campaign optimization and iteration
  • Test new channels to for acquisition & awareness
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand & Partnerships Mgr. to formulate and execute creative experimentation tests to enhance user engagement and trials
  • Define strategic roadmap for customer acquisition and brand awareness with accountability on KPI goals: Spend, ROI, CPAs
  • End-to-end channel ownership including strategy, tracking/measurement, reporting, testing and optimization of all channels
  • Display advertising
  • Formulate and execute on the overall PS paid media strategy:
    • Paid Social
    • PPC
    • Retargeting
    • Display advertising
    • Test new channels to for acquisition & awareness

Required Qualifications
  • Driven to learn new technologies and keep up with industry trends
  • SEO/SEM experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business or related field
  • 3-5+ years performance based digital marketing experience, running user acquisition and retention marketing and loyalty campaigns
  • Flexible and able to multitask multiple responsibilities
  • Able to interpret test results to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in digital media buying role
  • Collection of SSN as part of the background check process will be required
  • Lifelong learner, interested in continuous personal improvement and growth opportunities
  • Creative problem-solving capabilities
  • Marketo and Salesforce experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment

Compensation $120,000 - $145,000 (based on experience) Annually. Bonus opportunities available. This is a full-time role.
