Position Overview
As a member of the Laboratory Management team, assists the Laboratory Medical Director and Administrative Director in providing leadership and direction for the efficient and effective operation of a high quality, state-of-the-art laboratory. All duties are performed according to UHSH Personnel Policies and Procedures, UHSH Infection Control, NYSDOH Rules and Regulations, CAP Accreditation, and CDC policies and procedures.
Position Requirements
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in laboratory science or related
Six years medical laboratory experience and at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
Preferred:
Master of Business Administration or equivalent
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
Supervisory qualified by NYSDOH
