To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in the volume required by the program.
Time based (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) volume, quality, and customer satisfaction expectations and goals may be set for individual aspects of the job by the direct supervisor dependent on the program needs or requirements.
Ensures staff understands and adheres to policies and procedures as well as contractual obligations with CSS quality and curriculum providers.
Compiles and reports on all aspects of the Texas Rising Star (TRS) program and supporting quality initiatives.
Prepares request for procurement and makes sound recommendation and oversight for quality initiative contracts.
Identifies and documents process improvement opportunities and participates in project teams to develop and implement new ideas and /or process.
Develops and maintains a close working relationship with Texas Rising Star providers, vendor contracts, and other departments within child care services.
Supervises Early Care and Education Supervisor and Early Education Team, as needed.
Participates in local and statewide Early Education Initiatives as appropriate.
Serves as a thought leader for the Early Learning initiatives and assist in planning/implementation of all quality initiatives.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
