Van Pool Transportation LLC

Essential Duties:
  • Commercial Rotation: Gain knowledge and understanding of the following: Consultative Selling process and techniques, new account onboarding and installation, familiarity with all products, and how to present those to customers.
  • Transportation Rotation: Gain and understand all aspects of the Driver experience. Work with Drivers, monitors, and dispatch. AM/PM Check-in Process. Daily vehicle requirements and DOT regulations.
  • Fleet Rotation: Gain knowledge of our assets and the role to keep them safe and on the road.
  • Dispatch Rotation: Gain knowledge and understanding of the role of dispatching. Interact with drivers, school districts, customers, and fleet maintenance.
  • Support Dept Rotation: Gain knowledge of support positions such as; HR, Finance, and Office of Project Management.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Gaining knowledge of company policies, protocols, and processes.
  • Taking detailed notes and liaising with Managers, Supervisors, and other senior staff.
  • Traveling to different offices and participating in daily operations as required.
  • Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
  • Successfully complete all rotations of the program.
  • Observing and learning from experienced staff members.
  • Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
  • Fulfilling any requirements and meeting goals set out at the start of the traineeship
Education and Experience required.
  • A valid driver's license as part of the program will be to obtain your CDL License
  • Prior internship experience or involvement in extracurricular activities is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to move geographically during or after the program is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (recent graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
