Maintenance Supervisor - Canning

Summary: Our award-winning client is a highly respected multi-billion-dollar, Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods manufacturer seeking an accomplished Maintenance Supervisor for one of their flagship facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and manage, plan and schedule the workforce to meet production demands and ensure consistent operations.

• Monitor production line efficiencies and maintenance trends for optimal performance.

• Provide technical guidance and coaching to mechanical craftsmen, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.

• Enforce the plant's safety program, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and standards.

• Take full ownership of predictive and preventive maintenance activities, utilizing advanced analysis techniques.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, maximizing equipment reliability, and resource utilization.

• Predominantly a day shift role.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

• 5+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.

• 2+ years’ experience with canning and seaming.

• 3+ years Leadership / Supervisory experience.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and familiarity with Preventative Maintenance programs.
