WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;
  • Setting and monitoring maintenance performance targets both short and long term
  • Analyzing and trouble-shooting major downtime events using structured problem-solving tools
  • Reviewing and updating written maintenance instructions and schedules.
  • Managing maintenance and electrical employees
  • Responsible for formulating and developing goals and objectives and directing day-to-day activities.
  • Managing reliability department
  • Providing highly developed leadership, change management, interpersonal communication and people skills to help drive plant performance
  • Initiating and driving operational enhancements and improvements.
  • Determining equipment and manpower requirements for daily operational needs
  • Working closely with Maintenance team and other departments to implement cost saving measures
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
  • Analytical, data-driven problem solving and action planning skills.
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement
  • Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or substantial equivalent experience. (Professional Engineer designation desirable).
  • Ability to empower, supervise and direct a diverse workforce
  • Minimum 5+ progressive years in operations as a Maintenance Supervisor
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS programs such as Maximo
  • Strong knowledge of basic engineering principles
  • Experience in a union environment with strong labor relations skills
  • Proven track record in cost reductions and increased productivity
