Maintenance Manager Jobs

JOB SUMMARY
Supervises the maintenance team and oversee the maintenance department. Perform all maintenance requirements including but not limited to hiring, planning, scheduling, estimating, assigning, coordinating, and supervising all work including contracted labor.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
High School degree/diploma. Two years of college or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, architectural engineering or plumbing preferred.
OR
Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance or related field.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Job Responsibilities
Assign all unit work orders to maintenance staff. This includes, but is not limited to, analyzing/repairing plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and carpentry.
Audit repairs/maintenance tasks performed by maintenance team ensuring satisfactory and timely completion of all work orders. Report findings to individual owners, hotel operations, AOAO Board and outside contractors as necessary.
Ensure that all units and company property are maintained and in proper operating condition. Ensure that inventories are accurate and kept current.
Communicate with owners regarding repairs requiring expense approval. Consult with manager and owner services regarding necessary outside professional services; work with manager to contract services.
Responsible for managing cleanliness, orderliness, safety and functionality of maintenance shops. Orders supplies as needed. Safeguards all employees, supplies, equipment and tools.
Responsible for the maintenance employee hiring, scheduling, trainings, performance evaluations, and/or corrective actions.
Responsible for maintaining the annual maintenance budget.
Perform all assigned duties as requested.
