• Communication of, and involvement in the resolution of, extraordinary issues with systems and equipment that requires management involvement or input.

• Operation and maintenance of systems and equipment.
• Preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Timely and skillful completion of work orders related to HVACR, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in campus buildings.

• Education, Vocational/Technical Training in related field
• 5 - 8 years relevant work experience in facilities/maintenance
• Troubleshooting skills, able to communicate issues with relative ease
• The position requires a self-motivated, skillful, and knowledgeable individual, willing to learn, and able to coexist with a diverse group of maintenance professionals. Patience with students that will question tried and true methods is essential
• Refrigeration repair, mechanical ability, basic electrical knowledge
• This position is part of the team that is responsible for completing mechanical and electrical projects and tasks in a well organized, professional, courteous, manner. This applies to written and computer generated work orders, as well as verbal direction from supervisors
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Mechanical ability, basic electrical knowledge, knowledge of safe work practices
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and diversity

• Servicing of boilers/chillers larger air handlers
• Universal refrigeration certification, Class 2C boiler operator's license (LP) and CPO (Certified Pool Operator)
• Experience in maintaining commercial kitchen equipment
