Machine Operator conducts routine and non-routine phases of the manufacture of electrical submersible petroleum pump cable and/or rubber molded products.

Hours: 3pm - 11:00pm or 11pm- 7:00am

Machine Operator- Manufacturing Details

• Full Time work available
• $ 22.71 / hour
• Various shifts available ( Sunday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:30pm )
• Temporary position
• Weekend work required

Key Functions

• Understand safe work practices and apply them accordingly
• Monitors assigned equipment and performs adjustments as needed
• Attention to detail in documentation and process tasks
• Qualified to set up and operate specific work center, work center equipment and/or tasks under normal supervision -
• Ability to use measuring instruments and understand specifications
• Communicates effectively to all levels of the organization
• Good general fitness with the ability to lift 10 – 50 lbs. as needed
• Ability and willingness to work all 3 shifts, rotate shifts and work overtime
• Decision making skills on product quality based on specifications and visual observations

Machine Operator- Manufacturing Qualifications

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
• 1 – 3 Years mechanical and/or manufacturing experience
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
• Knowledge of cable manufacturing processes.
• Ability to make effective decision.
• Ability to communicate

• Excellent computer skills
• Forklift operating experience preferred

• Microsoft Office Suites; SAP a plus Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
