Pitchcast/Statcast Operator Jobs

Pitchcast and Statcast are MLB product's that supply broadcast rights holders with data visualization tools for use during live television productions.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as point person for broadcasters if they have issues or questions in-game, and escalating those as needed
• Make in-game graphic adjustments and/or re-calibrations as needed
• Log technical issues accurately and with detail
• Communicate with broadcasters prior to games to ensure everything is functioning properly
• Set up graphic rendering software and calibrate cameras by accessing remote computers
• Monitor and QC multiple live baseball productions

Qualifications:

• Must have strong computer skills
• Must be able to stay focused during an entire baseball game
• Some experience in a live production/broadcast environment
• Must be willing to work nights/weekends/holidays
• Good understanding of baseball
• Requires excellent interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills and a strong attention to detail
• Basic understanding of audio/video signal flow
