Job Description

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

  • Since its opening on December 5th, 2022, Industrial Commercial Transportation’s (ICT) new Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) is transforming the way our supply chain operates in our business unit and already exceeding all expectations. This is an exciting time of transformation and unprecedented growth for our business unit that emphasizes our commitment to our customers to improve operational efficiencies across all markets we serve. Since its opening, the team is shipping 15% above projections and this is a trend that will likely continue to rise as the CFC adds a second shift and integrates robotics/automation this year.
  • In addition, the CFC is a paperless fulfillment center. The pick/pack/ship processes are deployed using our digital platform as SAP dispatches customer shipments to handheld mobile devices, rather than employees relying on paper to trigger workflows as in typical traditional paperbound operations. This digital transformation paves the way for the future: a state-of-the-art fulfillment center that uses digital platforms to employ frontline workers that work alongside automated guided vehicles.
  • By investing in valuable donation programs, ICT Tullahoma is investing in the scientists, engineers, automation and continue improvement experts of tomorrow. Recently, members of the leadership team at the ICT Tullahoma plant in Tennessee presented the Tullahoma School System, with the company’s generous donation of $10,000.00 to invest in the community and future of TE.
