Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Fleet Support Team (FST), within the Configuration Management (CM) Branch of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST, supporting the E2C2 FST Configuration Management Team. Responsibilities You will maintain Configuration Management (CM) for designated weapon system, associated components, and related support systems. You will execute Configuration Management (CM) priorities and goals to improve system readiness and capability. You will assist in determining and approving plans for the review of Configuration Management (CM) deficiencies in order to resolve problems or correct deficient performance. You will provide technical planning for the development, evaluation, and support of the assigned program/project. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing total life cycle Configuration Management (CM) planning for the assigned program/project and managing the implementation of that planning; 2) Ensuring that changes to a configuration baseline are properly identified, justified, recorded, coordinated, evaluated, approved or disapproved, and incorporated, as appropriate; 3) Managing the capture and maintenance of product configuration information necessary to account for the configuration of a product throughout the life cycle of that product; 4) Conducting and coordinating configuration verification audits and reviews; 5) Executing Fleet Support Team Configuration Management (CM) objectives and management strategies for current and long range program tasks; and 6) Resolving logistics management problems and developing solutions to associated fleet logistics issues. GS-07 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. For the GS-07 Level: Successful completion of 1 full year of graduate level education OR Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree with Superior academic achievement OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
