Responsibilities You will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the Environmental Logistics Program Manager. You will collect and interpret engineering and logistics (or design and maintenance) hazardous material data, for compliance with the latest environmental regulations. You will provide assistance to the Environmental Logistics Manager in support of NAVAIR/NAVSEA acquisition Program Managers and the related fleet operations and support processes. You will assist in developing life cycle programmatic environment, safety and occupational health evaluations (PESHEs) for various programs. Yo will help develop and implement policies and strategies to ensure environmental impacts are considered during Product Support Analysis to improve readiness and availability. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS 9-10) grade level or (DS-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Collecting and interpreting engineering and logistics or design and maintenance hazardous material data for compliance with the latest environmental regulations; 2) Assisting with developing and implementing policies to ensure environmental impacts are considered during Product Support Analysis to improve readiness and availability; 3) Assisting in developing life cycle programmatic environment, safety and occupational health evaluations (PESHEs) for various programs; and 4) Developing and implementing strategies to minimize and manage environmental risk.
