Duties


In this position, you will plan and carry out a wide variety of mission support duties for INA relative to logistics, fleet management program and property management, inventory, and associated functions. You will perform a variety of interrelated activities and functions involving the coordination of various administrative duties and special logistical assignments related to the mission and functions in ISD. This position starts at a salary of $53,105.00 (GS-7, Step 1) to $84,441.00 (GS-9, Step 10) with promotion potential to $102,166.00 (GS-11 Step 10). Major duties include, but are limited to: Performing work in planning for small and large purchases, provides oversight for ordering, receiving, transferring, excessing, reutilization, repairing, and retiring of various types of property. Working with higher graded employees with CBP wireless accounts, and training to become a purchase card holder, reviewing requests and ensuring funding is available. Working with senior employees with conducting various duties within the agency's fleet management program to include ordering, receiving, inventorying, transferring, and excessing fleet vehicles, and creating, accepting, and transferring agency fleet records. Striving to provide an excellent customer service experience by identifying issues, deficiencies, and user capabilities and requirements. Coordinating supply activities with those of other functional specialties such as fleet, facilities, and supply management, and serving as an inventory taker and researching issues related to property.
