Savage Services is hiring for a Logistics Analyst at our operation in Wellington, UT. In this role, you will organize the movement of a large fleet of trucks to service customers throughout Utah; ensuring the work is done efficiently and utilizes our equipment and personnel resources. The primary responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Operations Manager and team. The Logistics Analyst will create and maintain a daily schedule for the movement of different materials.

- Maintain and disseminate required reports to management and customer
- Build a strong rapport with drivers and communicate with them such that their objective is clearly known
- Create and maintain dispatch to meet customer demand and contract needs by efficiently utilizing equipment and available personnel. Monitor real-time conditions and customer's needs through constant communication with customer personnel, Ops. Manager and data observed from trucks' on-board data collection devices
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with companies, and truck drivers
- Check drivers completion of paperwork as well as accurately record the data into the designated information system
- Verify accuracy on all reports by validating for invoice and payroll.
- Fulfill other duties assigned by Ops. Manager in order to meet necessary business objectives and contractual obligations
- Anticipate the needs of those you support and complete assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy and minimal direction
- Commit to safe work practices through situational awareness, following standard operating procedures, receiving feedback and watching out for the health and wellness of others
- Is honest in dealings with the company, team members and customers
- Problem solving and has the ability to think outside of the box and can grasp the big picture in a chain of events
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
- Positive attitude; treats others with fairness and respect – expects the same in return
- Minimum two years’ experience in fast paced, data management, customer service environment
- Proficient Excel skills with an ability to create and manipulate intermediate level functions
- Able to maintain good relationships with customers and coworkers
