For information about Hawaii, the island of Oahu and US Army Pacific, visit: http://www.hvcb.org and https://www.army.mil/usarpac Responsibilities Serve as Logistics Plans Specialist responsible for reviewing, coordinating, monitoring and providing interface with staff counterparts from other service components and other Army Service Component Commands. Provides top-level logistics planning continuity in the review and development of long-range plans and concepts, contingency plans and Operation Plans. Reviews, develops and directs U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) G-4 input and logistical requirements for the Army Campaign Plan (ACP) to build a campaign-capable, joint and expeditionary Army within the Army Transformation effort. Plans and executes Force Stabilization manning initiatives to fulfill operational commitments. Monitors day-to-day ongoing Army USARPAC logistics planning activities and prepares coordination documents/information papers and presents briefings as requested. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience with providing input to Operational Plans (OPLANS); Integrating Logistics Capabilities into Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD); preparing executive level decision briefings; and participate and lead multi-functional plans teams. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Management Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
