Logistics Coordinator And Operations Analyst

Carrington Farms is a leading manufacturer and distributor of natural and organic food products, including coconut oil, ghee, flaxseed, chia seeds, and more. We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator and Operations Analyst to join our team at our Closter, NJ location. The Logistics Coordinator and Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing the logistics operations and analyzing the supply chain to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate logistics between our co-packers and our warehouse
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate the transportation and distribution of products to various locations
• Review and approve freight invoices
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to logistics operations
• Maintain certification database
• Develop and maintain logistics performance metrics and dashboards
• Manage carrier relationships to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
• Coordinate logistics for our direct shipments from co-packers to customers
• Provide support for other operations projects and initiatives as needed
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to transportation and logistics
• Assist with bulk food planning schedule
• Coordinate international logistics from origin to our co-packers
• Work with internal teams, including purchasing, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Create customer logistics compliance database
• Optimize logistics operations to reduce costs and improve efficiency

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, or operations analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Experience working in a natural foods company preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
