Job Title: Logistics Analyst

Job Type: Full-time, W2 Contract

Location: Deerfield, IL (Remote)

Job Summary:

• Epitec is seeking a Logistics Analyst who will be responsible for the support of business owned systems and processes throughout the Deployment, Logistics, and Global Transportation organization.
• This will include the development and management of departmental/internal SharePoint sites, setup and maintenance of intercompany export software systems, and support of process documentation.
• Function also includes support activities such as data analysis, report generation, system testing and special projects.
• Candidates local to Deerfield, IL will be preferred because of possible on-site training; however, candidates can work 100% remotely.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyzes data to provide support for special projects.
• Maintain internal SharePoint sites/functions (including interactive lists).
• Participate in, embrace, and promote the EMS culture.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assemble information, analyze, verify, and make recommendations on corrective actions, as necessary.
• Continuously audits internal systems to ensure compliance.
• Summarizes data for use in reports to business units.
• Assist in the management of TR ONE SOURCE (global trade management system) setup requests.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures.
• Examine effectiveness of strategies and processes, research and provide alternative possibilities.

Required Education and Experience:

• 0 - 3 years related experience is required.
• Strong PC computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
• BS in Operations/Logistics or similar degree.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Project management experience and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to operate in the complex, international matrixed environment.
• Requires strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
