Opportunity:

Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Linux/Unix Engineer to join our team. This individual will be a member of a team that provides the primary Administration, Troubleshooting, and Management support for one of our client's Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance
• Maintain system security
• Mentor junior administrators
• Provide technical support and guidance
• Install and configure Linux Systems
• Perform system maintenance
• Create system backups

Qualifications:

• Must have in-depth knowledge of multiple versions of the Linux/Unix OS
• 3-5+ years of experience with linux/unix administration
• Must be able to resolve complex issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Scripting skills
• Experience with SUN Solaris
• RHEL certification

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
• Candidate must be willing and able to work 100% remotely
