Owens-Brockway Glass Container, Inc. seeks in Tracy, CA to manage total operation of 24/7 production line through continuous shift operation to maximize production performance. Lead and drive an Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) culture by proactively driving activities and behaviors to prevent injuries and create a safe environment as defined by O-I EH&S. Ensure customer quality requirements and satisfaction are achieved and maintained as defined by O-I quality standards. Manage line activities for job changes. Ensure key processes and production variables are within control parameters by implementing and sustaining manufacturing fundamentals within the line. Lead and participate in relevant meetings and forums relating to production, quality, safety, relevant consultative forums, and other operational matters determined by Unit Plant Manager. Oversee job performance by managing job speed, weight, and efficiencies. Ensure consistency, alignment, and integration of programs with corporate, regional, and local strategies.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), or Operations Management, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in glass manufacturing production. The 5 years must include experience with leading engineering work related to new equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel required, to be reimbursed by employer. In addition, standard benefits will be offered.

Work Hours: Full time (40 hours/week, 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri)

The expected salary range for this position is $131,768 - $131,768 per year
