Orgill is looking for a Learning Project Specialist responsible for identifying the objectives, constraints, and cultural fit of training requests as well as uncovering all learner needs, content research and learning strategy for each project. Works with internal partners to determine focus of material and all associated detail to prepare the project for design. The Learning Project Specialist supports the learning needs of internal Orgill departments by partnering with subject matter experts to uncover the best approach for the development and maintenance of training solutions and programs offered by Orgill. The Learning Project Specialist will use Orgill’s Learning & Development content development process to identify all learning needs of Orgill departments to ensure robust and accurate education material for Orgill employees and dealers. This position works under minimal supervision and must work closely with Executives, Program Managers, Technical Support and other Team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify key problems or knowledge gaps.
- Research learner needs and styles.
- Identifies project objectives & constraints.
- Research and vet existing resources and content that can be used or enhanced.
- Identifies any potential roadblocks that could affect project completion.
- Ensures cultural fit of all projects.
- Create a list of topics and subtopics that need to be taught in order to bridge the learning deficit.
- Utilizes SME interview questions template.
- Write a learning objective for each topic.

- Proven capability to plan and execute learning and development programs in alignment with the Executive team’s vision, at a large scale across multiple offices and audiences.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Critical thinking skills
- Works well under pressure.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Project management certification preferred
- Excellent computer knowledge. Proficient in Google Products and MS Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficiency in presentation skills utilizing Google Slides/Powerpoint
- Knowledge of basic consulting skills and approaches
- Must have the ability to read and write English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical learners
Education Required:
BS, MS, or equivalent degree in project management, communication, or related field
Experience required: Three to five years
