Job Description

We are hiring an experienced L&D Specialist to work with one of our clients in Morrisville, NC. This role will be apart of the Learning and Development Case Management team. Experience with training and presenting to clinical and non-clinical staff is required.


Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, HYBRID with 2 in office visits twice a month.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Sociology, Psychology, Education, Health Education, Business, or related field from an accredited college/university and five (5) years of experience in a progressive training or teaching role; including two (2) years of experience in healthcare


Job duty overview:

Identify objectives, conduct research, design, and develop learning programs for Population Health and Care Management Department including, but not limited to:

  • Clinical Platforms
  • Physical and Behavioral health topics
  • New Hire trainings and coaching
  • Conduct trainings for new employees (examples):
  • Department processes and workflows
  • Health Plan quality measures
  • Care Management practice models
  • Clinical systems and processes
  • Department policies and procedures

Electronic health record (EHR) functionality/navigation

How to complete assessments and plans of care

Facilitate trainings with other departments like legal, pharmacy

Support new employees registering/accessing online trainings

Conduct and score proficiency testing

  • Support EHR office hours (technical assist for staff)
  • Manage training calendar/invites for select trainings
  • Support development of trainings

Create power point based on simple workflows provided by subject experts

Create resources guide based on simple workflows provided by subject experts

Record and/or deliver developed training

  • Manage share point/shared drive to maintain training access for staff
  • Attend training team meetings (1-2 per week)

Required proficiency in Word, Power Point

Preferred Visio and Excel basics


Job Types: Full-time, Contract


Salary: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
