SUMMARY
The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for managing the development, facilitation, and delivery of all learning programs including leadership, professional, technical, and compliance training for all bank employees to increase organizational effectiveness and performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively analyze existing training and results to recommend innovative learning approaches and solutions that support the company’s business operations and people development.
- Assist Human Resources with Employee Engagement related training, projects, and assignments as needed.
- Oversee technical trainer who will facilitate technical and compliance training for new hires, refresher training for existing employees, and new training for all employees related to new systems, processes, and procedures.
- Consult with cross functional leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to determine potential learning solutions.
- Manage the search, selection, and ongoing relationship with any 3-party training vendors.
- Work with Human Resources and key stakeholders to develop training to support career pathing and development programs.
- Develop, design, and facilitate leadership, professional, and technical and compliance training programs.
- Manage the tracking and report of training progress and results.
- Work with Human Resources and key stakeholders with the development of new or modification of existing training programs.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Frequent contact with Supervisor, Senior Management and/or branch department managers in providing information regarding training or related topics.
- Daily contact with Human Resources, department members, and SMEs to provide updates, get direction, interpret existing and new procedures, discuss new initiatives that require changes to existing training or the development of new training.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Management and development of a variety of different types of learning programs preferred.
- Five years or more years of training experience preferably in a banking or retail environment.
SKILLS
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to manage others.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, branch personnel, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Basic knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office products and/or equivalent computer software applications.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision in working with computers, and peripheral vision in acknowledging customers and keeping a general awareness of activity in the work area.

The salary for this role will be between $80,671 and $119,392. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience. Hired candidate may be eligible for healthcare benefits, 401K plan, short term & long-term disability coverage, life insurance, vacation & sick time, educational assistance, and several holidays. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards.
