Job Description
As a Leadership Development Program Manager at IDEXX, you will play a key role in our center of excellence for Talent Development supporting the creation and ongoing management of a portfolio of learning programs. You will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, marketing, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of our solutions. What You Will Be Doing


In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing our roadmap of learning offerings that help IDEXX retain and develop key talent and ensure continued growth. You will collaborate seamlessly with all teams in Talent Development and partner with HRBP’s and leaders of all business lines to ensure that we provide courses and programs that enable our leaders to achieve their professional goals.


The successful candidate will have experience in a Learning and Talent Development team with responsibilities around all aspects of managing learning products.


  • Evaluating program effectiveness: You will need to evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development programs through verbal feedback, survey results and talent metrics, and use this information to report ROI and continually improve the programs.
  • Developing and implementing leadership training programs: You will need to assess the current and future needs of the audiences you support in terms of leadership development, identify gaps, and collaborate with design to develop programs to address those gaps.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends: You will need to stay current with trends in leadership development and use this knowledge to ensure that programs are innovative and effective.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders: You will manage the delivery of multiple learning programs working with Talent Operations, Facilitators, and Learning Technology to schedule, onboard and support learners at every stage efficiently.
  • Providing leadership coaching: You will demonstrate your subject matter expertise to consult, deliver sessions and facilitate groups as required You may provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to leaders to help them develop specific skills or overcome challenges.
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders: You will work with HR, talent management, and other internal stakeholders to ensure that leadership development programs align with the overall strategy of the organization.


What You Need To Succeed


  • Leadership development programs may involve multiple stakeholders and timelines, so strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate resources, are important.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in Leadership Development or Coaching preferred.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, virtual training platforms, and other technology tools may be beneficial for designing and implementing leadership development programs in a digital environment.
  • 5-7 years of working experience, of which at least 3 in corporate Learning or Talent Development. With a successful track record designing and implementing leadership development programs, coaching, and mentoring leaders, and managing budgets.
  • A strong understanding of leadership development theories, adult learning principles, and best practices is essential for this role.
  • As a Leadership Development Program Manager, you will need to communicate effectively with senior leaders, managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships, influence others, and collaborate effectively, are important.
  • An ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to address gaps in leadership development.
