Do you love writing interactive narrative stories for mobile audiences?

Series AI is seeking a talented Lead Writer who will help concept, script & implement story content for our upcoming story release. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of interactive narrative space, strong communication skills, and a passion for creating high-quality stories and interactive experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Head of Story and the story team to author outlines & scripts that bring our vision to life

• Review and provide feedback on scripts, character designs, and storyboards.

• Ensure story consistency and a high level of quality in all released content.

• Implement scenes in our proprietary creation suite, and gather feedback and iteratively improve them

• Identify opportunities with our creative & writing tools to better enhance your workflow; work with producers to bring those requests to life

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of writers and story designers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a lead writer or equivalent role, with a strong portfolio of work.

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.

• Proficient in interactive story development tools and techniques.

• Strong collaboration skills & ability to self-manage when we need to divide & conquer

• Familiarity with scripting languages or creation suites is a plus.

• Experience in mobile game design is a plus.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the mobile gaming market and the standout aspects of successful interactive stories is a plus.

• Interest in generative AI is a plus.

This is a contract position, and the Lead Writer will work collaboratively with our design, art, and production teams to deliver world-class games and interactive experiences.
