As a Lead Urgent Care RN, you are able to execute the day-to-day workflows as communicated by the manager, achieve efficient work flow processes, produce high quality clinical outcomes, and provide exemplary patient experiences. It is expected that the daily work of the Lead Urgent Care RN will encompass both lead and direct patient care responsibilities . Schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:45p to 11:30p after successful completion of training (training can include daytime hours). Evening ($2.00) differential available!

Responsibilities Include

• Must work independently and as a team member and be able to wear a mask all day, including an N95 in cases where protocol directs.
• Assist manager with provider schedules, coordinating vacation requests and sick calls to ensure appropriate clinical coverage. Assist manager with review of time cards.
• Act as the first level, "go to person" for the providers and staff regarding troubleshooting issues. Act as a mentor, role model, and resource for co-workers.
• Reassign staff to meet the needs of the day and coordinate cross-site, as necessary.
• Monitor and process Telephone and MyChart encounters to meet Clinic timelines.
• Facilitate the orientation and training of new and on-call staff.
• Maintain efficient levels of medications, medical and office supplies.
• Train, communicate, and monitor any new processes to the department/unit.
• Using assessment skills to triage patients according to protocol
• Ability to perform clinical skills such as IV, urinary catheters, ear lavage, EKG, sterile set up, injections, immunizations, point-of-care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy.

Requirements

• American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.
• Superior communication skills and interpersonal skills set.
• Ability to successfully become a core-trainer and super user of EHR.
• Current, unencumbered Washington State RN license required

Pay Range

$41.77 - $62.65
