Lead Unity Developer Jobs

We work on high-quality console, PC, and mobile games. We are looking for a senior/lead Unity3D developer for a long term collaboration, working REMOTELY or ON-SITE with our Vavel Warsaw team.

Responsibilities:

As a Unity3D developer, you will be responsible for building gameplay systems and features on multiple platforms. You will work closely with our team of programmers, designers and producers to drive decisions for the projects you will be involved in.

• Accurately estimates his/her schedules and delivers high quality work products to that schedule.
• Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure project efforts proceed efficiently and with predictability.
• Maintain project confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Build and maintain core engine components, pipelines and tools on multiple hardware platforms.
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities as requested.
• Enabling relevant stakeholders’ concerns to be identified, considered, and, when appropriate, addressed during the development of the product.
• Write clear, maintainable, portable C# code.
• Collaborate with architects and technologists on design decisions and directions for product requirements.
• Work directly with the designers to insure that their vision is shared with your ability to enhance existing features and add new systems extending an established code base.
• Full Software Lifecycle application development – designing, coding, debugging and documenting applications.
• Modernize existing systems and implement complete new game systems as required.

Requirements:

• Languages: English is a must.
• +4 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• Understanding game backend systems.
• Ability to work independently and to be self-directing.
• Deep knowledge of .NET and C# and Game Architecture Design.
• Strong organizational skills with a good sense of design with outstanding communication skills.
• C++/Obj C knowledge (for plugins)
• Deep knowledge of Unity.
• Passion for making and playing innovative games.
• Knowledge of interfacing with backoffice servers.
• Demonstrable ability to discover and fix errors in code.

Useful:

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and problem solving.
• B.S. in Computer Science Engineering preferred.
• Ability to lead.
• Ability to work independently and to be self-directing.
• AR/Geolocation Experience.
• Strong experience using Unity3D and C# programming language, C++ is also desirable.
