The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Work you'll do:
The Full Stack Developer will work as part of a cross-functional agile team to launch innovative Big Data and Analytics products for Federal Security clients. In addition, the developer will:

• Developing in a distributed scalable compute and storage environment such as the Hadoop ecosystem with HDFS, MapReduce, and YARN
• Role-based and/or attribute based access control systems and related data
• Work with Pig, Python, SQL, NoSQL, Accumulo, JSON, XML, Java and SLDC tooling such as Maven
• AWS cloud development and solutions architecture
• Collaborate with team of full-stack engineers to design and develop software products that transform global mission
• Understand Deloitte's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as cutting-edge and best in the industry
• Working with multiple stakeholders, gathering and refining requirements, and participating in integration activities

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years experience with AWS cloud development and solutions engineering
• Bachelor's degree required
• Ability to support a hybrid schedule working onsite 3-4 days per week in the DC area
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• 2+ years demonstrated expertise with the following: Java/ Maven/ SLDC Tooling/ JSON/ XML
• Active Top Secret with SCI currently in use
• 1+ years experience with Accumulo
• 2+ years demonstrated expertise with the following languages: Python/R/Pig/ SQL/ NoSQL

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience implementing wireframes with flexible, well-structured code
• Comfortable with code versioning tools such as Git
• Strong knowledge of best practices - willingness to review code and provide feedback to other engineers
• Creativity and innovation - desire to learn and apply new technologies, products, and libraries.
• Willingness to collaborate with distributed teams
