LEAD SALES ASSOC – HOTEL

In the overall day to day operations within the Shops at the Hotel Hershey. Lead Sales Associates are given opportunities to learn about all aspects of customer service and retail operations including merchandising, logistics of stock delivery, guest services, and store inventory management. The Lead Sales Associate will oversee the operations of HH Collections or Shine retail boutiques and assist in achieving the department’s goals for the year.


Job Functions (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain rapport with Front Desk and answer guest inquiries, in person and over the phone in a timely manner.*
  • Help design and execute the Hotel Amenities Program in collaboration with the Front Desk to fulfill product requests and guest relations.*
  • Maintain store appearance standards to ensure the store is stocked and assist with inventory management tasks to include placing product orders, completing inventory transfers, entering inventory markouts, and maintaining inventory integrity.*
  • Maintain store layout and provide feedback on the product assortment within the retail location by understanding the needs of our guests.*
  • Serve as front-line team member as needed, assisting in other Hotel retail locations as the business warrants.*
  • Provide exceptional guest service through the proper training of new team members within your assigned store location.*
  • Identify safety and maintenance related issues and partner with the appropriate department to ensure they are addressed.*
  • Follow all cash handling procedures in accordance with Resorts Revenue Group SOPs.*
  • Resolve immediate guest concerns, investigate, and provide recommendations to store leadership to correct and prevent recurring guest service issues.*

Basic Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school or GED
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of 1 years of related experience.
  • Industry Experience – Retail
  • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Must be friendly, upbeat, and work well with other employees.
  • Must be able to train and motivate team members to ensure quality results are achieved.
  • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image representative of the property image.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Schedule will rotate to cover hours of operation between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
