Description

Operate as a Talent Acquisition partner to our designated business unit(s) by providing expert support and consultation on our Internal Mobility team focusing on internal only positions. Acting as a change agent coaching management at all levels to dirve the internal recruitment / hiring process and enhance organizational effectiveness. A demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of candidate assessment and identification and selection. Assists business unit(s) in achieving business and people objectives. Provides pro-active planning and day-to-day solutions. Accurate and timely HR information and high quality customer service.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and maintain employment records; develop reporting and utilize recruitment software as appropriate.
  • Recommends /suggestions in the areas of hiring strategies, retention, training, and developing performance metrics. Leads by example to the team and peers, and is recognized as a SME in staffing.
  • Screen, interview and recruit applicants for primarily internal only positions. Inform potential applicants about the process, make hiring recommendations to business; notifies internal applicants of consideration or declination; prepares and extends job offers; conducts reviews and communicates results of applicant testing (where applicable) and
  • Evaluate staffing and selection criteria to ensure conformance to professional, statistical, and testing standards, recommending changes to policies and procedures based on conclusions.
  • As Lead Recruiter you will partner with the TA Director to ensure in designing, developing, and implementing effective hiring plans; identify gaps in the process; coordinate and manage internal job fair events; develop relationships with Hiring Managers, HR Partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws. Represents the Company by preparing and processing documents and/or appearing at compliance hearings including Equal Employment Opportunity, Office of Federal Contract and Compliance. Work with legal within area of expertise to prepare for and participate in legal cases.
  • Initiate, lead and execute various staffing based projects to promote and enhance the overall performance of the staffing department and business results; provide training, coaching and mentoring to IM recruiters.

Leadership Responsibilities:

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience, may direct the work of other staff members.

Task Complexity:

Works on critical issues and the most complex IM projects. Expert knowledge of recruitment methodology.

Decision Making:

Complete latitude for independent judgment. Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.

Amount of Supervision:

Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mandatory:

Coaching and mentor of peers experience. Strong recruitment background including process and ability to drive the process and build / establish business relationship
