Lead Product Designer (Ui/Ux)

Our client (Startup building Web/Desktop based app) is seeking a Lead Product Designer (UI/UX) with game design experience to take their product design to next level tech revolution in Personal Intelligence and Intelligence Augmentation enabling users to have augmented personal databases on-the-go regardless of the device they use.

Responsibilities

The candidate will have a prominent voice in all product design decisions, while working

closely with highly collaborative and cross-functional team members to plan, design, and implement and given the nature of the problem, our client's product is large and is still building basic, critical

“table-stakes” functionality. Basic does not mean that the functionalities are not complex.

Qualifications

• No contractor/freelance experience
• Must be proficient and highly skilled in Figma, Sketch, and other design and wireframing tools
• Web/Desktop app development experience (No Mobile app development experience)
• A portfolio showcasing strong design and UI/UX sensibility
• Familiarity with Gestalt Principles of design is a really good sign
• Exceptional UI/UX visual chops
• At least 5yrs of experience in product design
• Previous experience at an early-stage startup required (at least 3yrs in current position)

Nice to have

• Ability to show a lot of experience especially Web/Desktop app development
• Portfolio on a Figma file or any designing communities and must include work on styles, buttons, icons, typography, branding, contrast, palettes, colors and why you made those decisions
• Game design experience
