SiteZeus is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our web applications. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and leverage your knowledge of user-centered design to create elegant and efficient solutions. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of your designs.
- Conducting user research and testing to gather insights and identify user needs and pain points.
- Translate the Product Owner’s vision and user stories into a visual representation for project stakeholders and developers to see how a feature should look.
- Developing and maintaining design guidelines and standards.
- Ensure that the user experience will be intuitive and easy to learn for end users.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs.
- Contributing to the overall design strategy and vision of the company.
- Ensure that the page designs are responsive to different screen device sizes.
- Staying up to date with current design trends and technologies.
- Conducting design reviews and providing feedback to other designers.
- Conducting usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of designs.
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for our web applications.
- Iterating designs based on user feedback and testing results.
- Superior attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience conducting user research and testing.
- Proficiency Adobe Creative Suite, in particular, XD & Figma.
- Has a strong desire to provide the best possible user experience to delight customers.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Ability to identify problems and strategize solutions to remedy problems.
- Understanding of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to be self-directed and work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of an Agile Scrum Product Team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing skills in user-centered design, information architecture, and visual design.
- Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Knowledge of design principles, including typography, color theory, and composition.
- Local to Tampa for occasional in-office business.
- Ability to translate prototypes to workable UI in Vue.js.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
- Experience with Visual Studio Code, Git, and Azure DevOps.
