Lead Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Design, implement and maintain Checkpoint firewall and security solutions to protect the enterprise network and data.
2. Conduct regular security audits and assessments of the Checkpoint environment, including reviewing logs, analyzing network traffic, and identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities and threats.
3. Must have Privileged Access / PAM experience, preferably BeyondTrust
4. Manage and maintain Checkpoint security devices such as firewalls, VPN gateways, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS), ensuring that they are operating optimally and in compliance with security policies and standards.
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to other teams, including network operations and security analysts, to troubleshoot and resolve security incidents and issues related to Checkpoint devices.
6. Work with security vendors and partners to identify and evaluate new technologies, tools, and services that can enhance the security of the Checkpoint environment.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in network security, including emerging threats and attack techniques, and recommend strategies and solutions to improve the overall security posture of the organization.
8. Design, implement and maintain BeyondTrust privileged access management solutions to ensure the security of critical systems and data.
9. Manage and troubleshoot BeyondTrust PowerBroker for Windows, PowerBroker for Unix & Linux and PowerBroker Password Safe in a complex enterprise environment.
